A Romantic Fall Wedding at Renault Winery | Cailee & Jon

Some weddings are beautiful because of the details. Others are unforgettable because of the people. Cailee and Jon’s wedding at Renault Winery was both.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear this day would be about love, family, and being fully present with one another. On a gorgeous fall day with perfect weather, these two celebrated their marriage surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.

As a Renault Winery Wedding Photographer, I love when a couple truly enjoys every minute of their day. That was exactly who Cailee and Jon were. They spent the entire day smiling, laughing, and putting their love on display for everyone to see.

A Little History About Renault Winery

Before diving into their wedding day, it’s worth mentioning that Renault Winery is one of New Jersey’s most unique wedding venues.

Founded in 1864, Renault Winery is one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in the United States. The property blends historic charm with modern elegance and offers countless locations for portraits. Between the vineyards, hotel, and beautifully designed interior spaces, there is no shortage of stunning backdrops.

Even after the leaves had fallen, the holiday decorations around the property added beautiful pops of color and made every corner of the grounds feel warm and inviting.

A Morning Filled with Family

The day began in separate suites, with Cailee spending the morning with her girls while Jon got ready with his guys. Their daughter, Ellie, spent the morning in the bridal suite surrounded by loving family and friends. At only nine or ten months old, she already seemed to know she was part of something special.

After hair and makeup finished, Cailee slipped into her dress with help from her mom and sister. The final touches brought everything together beautifully. Meanwhile, Jon looked sharp in his suit, and his cowboy hat added the perfect touch of personality to his wedding-day look.

Sweet Moments Before “I Do”

Once Cailee was dressed, she shared a sweet first look with her bridesmaids. Their reactions were priceless and set the tone for an emotional afternoon.

Then came one of the cutest moments of the entire day. Ellie spotted her mom in her wedding dress and immediately crawled toward her. Watching those two together melted everyone’s hearts and reminded us that this wedding was also a celebration of a beautiful little family.

From there, we headed downstairs to the gorgeous Renault Winery lobby for portraits before another emotional moment unfolded. Cailee shared a touching first look with her dad before making her way to the pond to see Jon.

A Tearful First Look on the Bridge

The bridge at Renault Winery provided the perfect setting for Cailee and Jon’s first look. As Cailee approached, Jon patiently waited with his back turned.

The moment he saw his bride, the emotions hit immediately. He shed a few tears, and it was clear just how much this day meant to him.

Their chemistry was undeniable all day long. They were romantic, energetic, down-to-earth, and completely wrapped up in each other. Every glance and every smile felt genuine.

After their first look, we spent some time exploring the grounds for portraits. The afternoon sun gave us gorgeous light, and every location seemed to glow.

One of my favorite things about Renault Winery is the variety of portrait locations throughout the property. The mirror room, speakeasy lounge, wine glass room, and elegant hallways each have their own personality and provide an incredible range of backdrops.

Some of my favorite images from the entire day came from these spaces. They perfectly captured who Cailee and Jon are as a couple: elegant, fun, and completely in love.

A Ceremony Unlike Any Other

Once portraits and family photos wrapped up, it was time for the ceremony. This ceremony was a first for me because it took place outdoors in the dark and was lit only by string lights and constant lighting from the DJ.

To make sure every moment was beautifully documented, I added a few off-camera lights to illuminate the scene. The result was incredibly romantic and created an intimate atmosphere that made the ceremony feel even more special.

As the two of them stood together under the night sky, surrounded by their family and friends, it felt like something straight out of a movie.

A Celebration Filled with Love

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour before heading upstairs for the reception. The evening kicked off with a sweet first dance, and then Ellie joined her parents on the dance floor.

It was another reminder that this day was not only about two people becoming husband and wife. It was also about celebrating a beautiful family.

After the parent dances and heartfelt speeches, another emotional moment unfolded. Cailee took the microphone and spoke about how important her mom is to her and how much she admires her. She then invited her onto the dance floor for a dance together.

It was sweet, touching, and one of the most beautiful moments of the evening.

Once dinner wrapped up, the dance floor opened and the celebration kicked into high gear. Friends and family danced the night away and created the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

A Love Worth Celebrating

My favorite part of the entire day was simply watching Cailee and Jon enjoy each other’s company. They never seemed rushed or distracted and spent the entire day fully present with one another.

They laughed together, held each other close, and took every opportunity to soak in the moments around them. Their love was on full display for everyone to see, and it was a privilege to witness.
