Mallard Island Estate Wedding | Lacey & Jason’s Waterfront Celebration
A Mallard Island Estate wedding always delivers coastal elegance, and Lacey and Jason’s day was no exception. From start to finish, their celebration felt effortless, joyful, and full of energy.
Lacey got ready with her girls inside the stunning bridal suite at Mallard Island Estate. The space felt luxurious, featuring a salon, an oversized walk-in shower, and a breathtaking four-poster bed. Meanwhile, Jason and the guys relaxed in the rustic cabin overlooking Manahawkin Bay, soaking in the calm before the excitement began.
Soon after, Lacey’s mom helped her into her dress and added the final touches. Then, it was time. Lacey met Jason at the small barn chapel along the bay for their private first look. They laughed, kissed, and soaked in every second together with pure excitement!
Afterward, we explored the property for portraits, taking advantage of the waterfront views and charming architecture. Then, the bridal party joined for photos, followed by family portraits. Because they chose a first look, the timeline flowed effortlessly. This also allowed us to get creative without rushing and enjoy cocktail hour later!
Meanwhile, guests arrived in waves and gathered near the bay. They laughed, hugged, caught up, and snapped photos together. When the moment arrived, everyone made their way to the chapel for a beautiful waterfront ceremony.
Jason’s lifelong friend Paul officiated the ceremony, which made it even more meaningful. I photographed Paul’s wedding years ago, so this full-circle moment felt incredibly special. That connection made the day even more rewarding!
After the ceremony, guests moved into cocktail hour, and it absolutely delivered. The food impressed everyone, the staff kept the energy high, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and joyful. As the sun dipped lower, we stole away for sunset portraits along the bay, and the colors were unreal!
Finally, the reception kicked off with high energy and nonstop celebration. Guests danced, laughed, and enjoyed the open-air balcony as the night unfolded. Drinks flowed, the music hit, and the energy never dropped.
Lacey and Jason’s Mallard Island Estate wedding was vibrant, emotional, and full of life. It was the kind of day that reminds me why I love documenting weddings!
