Lacey and Jason’s engagement session at Bear Mountain State Park was absolutely magical. Fall was showing off, and the trees were dressed in their best shades of red, orange, and gold. Honestly, if there were a contest for the most perfect fall day, this one would’ve won!

We kicked things off by the lake, where everything felt so calm and peaceful. The water reflected the colorful leaves, making it look like a postcard. Lacey and Jason couldn’t stop laughing and joking with each other, which made my job so easy. Their energy was infectious, and you could feel how much fun they were having just being together.

After soaking up the lakeside vibes, we hopped in the car and headed to the peak. And let me tell you, the drive up? Totally worth it. As we climbed, the views kept getting better and better—like the kind of scenery that makes you want to pause and take it all in. By the time we reached the top, we were greeted with rolling hills painted in every fall color imaginable and, way off in the distance, a glimpse of the NYC skyline. Talk about a view!

And then there was the sunset. Oh. My. Gosh. The sky turned into this insane mix of pinks and oranges that made everything glow. Lacey and Jason just soaked it all in, snuggled up together, and let the moment be as magical as it could be. Honestly, it felt like we were on a movie set.

Bear Mountain is such a fun spot for engagement photos. You get the cozy lakeside vibes, the epic mountain views, and that feeling of being a little adventurous. It’s the kind of place where you can just be yourselves, which is exactly what Lacey and Jason did.

Lacey and Jason, thanks for being such a joy to work with. I had the best time capturing your love and can’t wait for the next chapter—your wedding day!
