Kelsie and Pat | Old City Engagement Photos

I just love shooting in Philadelphia. You can visit the same place multiple times and always find a new area to shoot or a different perspective in a familiar place. Old City engagement photos are one of my favorites, as there is so much beautiful light and textures to play with. Old City is located at the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge and it’s a part of America’s most historic square mile. It’s lined with cobblestone streets, 18th century charm and amazing nooks and textures for photos. Kelsie and Pat chose this area based on my recommendation and I couldn’t have been happier!

We met on Race Street and walked down to these gorgeous iron doors at the base of the Ben Franklin bridge. I had an idea to try to frame passing cars around K&P. I stood in the medium while cars flew by and while I didn’t get to them framed by cars, I had them perfectly captured in the window of a passing cab! Better to be lucky than good sometimes!

We wandered around Old City to look for cool spots for photos and I got to learn a little more about them. What a cool couple they are and I’m so happy to capture their Mendenhall Inn wedding!
