Documenting a wedding is such an honor and a privilege that I do not take lightly. My clients put a lot of trust in me and I thrive to deliver quality, creative and memorable moments. So imagine the honor that was bestowed upon me when a fellow wedding industry professional, wedding videographer Dan Baldwin of Danny B Productions asked me to capture not only his proposal, but his The Grove at Centerton wedding! It’s the equivalent of an accountant asking another accountant to do their taxes or a surgeon asking another surgeon to perform surgery.

Danny and I work a lot of weddings together and have a lot of fun. Our clients often dub us “Team Ginger Soy” because Dan is a red head and I’m Asian haha! We bring a fun energy to our clients, and that energy carried over to his and Kelsey’s wedding day.

The Grove at Centerton is a unique venue in South Jersey. While it’s on a golf course, it doesn’t have your typical ‘country club’ wedding vibe. It has a rustic feel to it that comes alive during the reception.

Kelsey and Dan had their first look along the tree-lined greens where Dan broke down. It was one of many crying moments for Dan. We ventured around the property and visited some often missed areas in the back where there are some cool buildings to use as backdrops.

Their ceremony was held on the patio (where Dan cried again…multiple times) before a delicious cocktail hour. Guests then made their way into the ballroom where they danced and celebrated with Kelsey and Dan.

Congratulations Kelsey and Dan! It was an honor to capture your day for you, and I wish you many many happy years growing old together. And lots of happy tears, for sure.
