Katie and Brett’s beautiful and elegant Philadelphia wedding was captured perfectly by Philadelphia wedding photographer, James Webb Photography. They tied the knot at the historic Cathedral Basilica of St. Paul and Peter. It’s stunning and grand church added a touch of classic beauty to their ceremony. Built in the mid 1800’s, the iconic church stands proud in the middle of towering skyscrapers.

After the beautiful ceremony, we headed to Logan Square for some family photos. We then stopped at City Hall and the First Bank of the United States for bridal party and portraits. The 18th century garden provided a picturesque backdrop for their portraits. It also served as the perfect spot for a champagne toast led by the bridal party! It was an epic moment that I loved capturing! But don’t worry, we made sure we left the grounds as we found it. I think between their engagement session and wedding photos, we covered most of the popular photo spots in Philly!

I loved the creative time around the historical Philadelphia landmarks, but the bus ride was where the real fun happened! The bridal party was dancing, singing and exhibiting 100% shenanigans! Damn that was fun!

The Arts Ballroom was the perfect location for the reception, with its chic and sophisticated atmosphere. It’s a magnificent venue that features high ceilings, sparkling chandeliers and beautiful architectural details that provide a romantic and elegant ambiance. The beautifully decorated space featured flowers and candles, adding to the overall romantic feel of the day.

Between the historic Cathedral Basilica of St. Paul and Peter, City Hall, Merchants Exchange, 18th century garden and the chic Arts Ballroom, this is a prime example of a Philadelphia Wedding. It was my honor to capture Katie and Brett’s special day and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
