Jenn and Brian / Proposal at Spring Lake

This one was extra special! Brian found me on Instagram and reached out to help plan and capture his proposal to his (then) girlfriend, Jenn. But before we dive into that magical moment, let me share a little about their love story—it’s one for the books.

Brian and Jenn’s story began in high school, but life eventually took them in different directions. They lost touch, moved out of state, and settled into their separate lives. Here’s the twist: both unknowingly ended up in Southern California. Fate stepped in one sunny day when they found themselves on the same beach. Brian spotted Jenn walking by, called out her name, and just like that, their story picked back up where it left off. They’ve been inseparable ever since!

Fast forward to the proposal. Brian and I spent weeks planning every detail—where he’d stand, where I’d be hiding, and how to make sure Jenn wouldn’t suspect a thing. On the big day, I arrived early to scout the perfect spot and blend into the background. When I saw Brian and Jenn walking toward me, my heart was racing. I can only imagine how Brian must’ve felt in that moment!

And then it happened. Brian dropped to one knee, and Jenn’s face lit up like the sun. The joy, the surprise, the love—it was all there. She said “YES!” (of course!), and the two of them were completely in their own world.

After the big moment, Brian introduced me, and we spent some time taking photos to capture their love. From their laughter to the way they looked at each other, every shot told a story of pure happiness and connection.

Being part of such an important day in someone’s life is always an honor, but Brian and Jenn’s proposal was something truly special. Their journey from high school sweethearts to finding each other again feels like it was written in the stars.
