Erin and Rich’s Bishop Farmstead wedding truly shows what wedding days are all about. Love, family and celebrating two people.

Erin wanted a simple approach to her wedding day. She wanted me to come to her family house which she calls “The Hive” and capture things as they happen. I didn’t spend time on pretty layouts for details, just roamed from room to room documenting her family prep for E&R’s big day, and it was liberating! I loved documenting all her family prepping, practicing, and getting ready for the wedding. She comes from a very tight family, so it was cool documenting those moments for her. Once every was ready, she made her grand entrance down the stairs where her siblings, parents and grandfather admired her!

Bishop Farmstead’s grounds are absolutely beautiful! The tall grassy meadows, rustic ambiance, gorgeous red barn and manicured gardens, it’s the perfect place for a wedding. And since E&R chose not to have a bridal party, it gave me more time for portraits and photojournalistic photos of their friends and family.

Guests gathered in the garden for the short but sweet ceremony. They planted a tree together, had their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs., and made their way into the barn to party! Erin is one of five siblings, and they have a traditional dance that they do. It was pretty cool watching her other siblings get up and do a perfectly choreographed dance for everyone!

Thank you, Erin and Rich for letting me be a part of your inner circle for a day! Here are my favorite photos from their Bishop Farmstead wedding!
