James Webb Photography’s Best of 2018

One of my favorite things to do at the end of the year is look back at all the weddings and engagement sessions I had that year. I sit here and reflect on all the laughs and memories I had with each of my clients and it makes me realize how much I love what I do. It’s an honor to be a part of a couple’s special day and something I never take for granted.

When I looked at my Best of 2017 blog, I remembered working on defining my editing style, composition and client experience. This year I worked on incorporating dramatic lighting, textures, colors, shapes and client’s expressions into my photography. I also wanted to offer a tangible, heirloom product and partnered up with an exclusive album company to deliver top-quality albums to my clients. Working on my awareness of candid moments by keeping my camera to face and observing the environment allowed me to improve my photojournalistic approach.

As I went through my 2018 weddings, it was really hard to narrow it down to just one photo per wedding/session, but I managed to do so and here they are! You’ll find it’s a mixture of photojournalistic and portraiture moments.

I’m looking forward to all my 2019 weddings and sessions and growing my business, skill set and client experience even more! Thank you to all my bad ass clients!
